You have full control over your data and can request deletion at any time.

What Data We Collect

Account Information:

  • Name, email address, and phone number
  • Service address for job requests
  • Profile information you provide

For Service Professionals — Business Information:

  • Business name and description
  • Service areas and specializations
  • License and certification details

Service Requests & Jobs:

  • Job descriptions and photos you upload
  • Communication between customers and professionals
  • Scheduling and appointment information
  • Job completion photos and notes

Payment Information:

  • Payment card details (securely stored by Stripe — we do not store full card numbers)
  • Bank account details for payouts (securely stored by Stripe)
  • Transaction history and receipts
  • Tax information (if applicable)

How We Use Your Data

  • Connect customers with professionals: Match service requests with qualified pros
  • Process payments: Securely handle transactions and payouts through Stripe
  • Send notifications: Updates about service requests, appointments, and messages
  • Verify credentials: Ensure quality and trust on the platform

We never sell your personal information to third parties.

Third-Party Services

Supabase (Database & Authentication):

Stores your account and service data securely with encryption.

Stripe (Payment Processing):

Handles all payment transactions and payouts. We never store your full card or bank account details.

Cloud Storage:

Photos and documents are stored securely in encrypted cloud storage.

All third-party services comply with industry-standard security practices.

Security Measures

California residents have additional rights under CCPA/CPRA, including the right to know what data we collect, the right to delete, and the right to opt-out of sale. We do not sell personal data.

To request data deletion:

Email us at richg@mihpros.com with "Delete My Data" in the subject line. We'll process your request within 30 days.

Earnings & Financial Data

  • Bank account details are stored by Stripe, not on our servers
  • Earnings history is encrypted and accessible only to you
  • You control access to your earnings data. We do not share it with third parties except as required by law (e.g., tax reporting)
  • You can export your earnings history at any time

Cookies & Tracking

We use cookies to:

  • Keep you logged in
  • Remember your preferences
  • Analyze site usage (anonymized)

Children's Privacy

Our services are not directed to children under 13 years of age. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you are a parent or guardian and believe your child has provided us with personal information, please contact us at richg@mihpros.com. We will delete such information from our records promptly.

Data Retention

We retain your personal information only for as long as necessary to provide the services, fulfill legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements. Job photos and details are typically kept for 2 years after job completion. Account data is retained until you request deletion.

International Data Transfers

Your data may be transferred to and processed in the United States or other countries where our service providers operate. We ensure appropriate safeguards are in place for such transfers in accordance with applicable data protection laws.

Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this policy from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by posting the new policy on this page and updating the "Last Updated" date. Continued use of the service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
